Pediatric Mesenteric Lymphadenitis: Simple Home Remedies for Relief!

Warm-hearted Netizen (QQ: Yanzi 1589217877): Hello, teacher. I have a remedy for mesenteric lymphadenitis in children. My daughter has been suffering from stomach pain for about a month. After a hospital check-up, the doctor diagnosed her with mesenteric lymphadenitis and prescribed over 300 yuan worth of medication. She took the medicine for three days and applied patches for three days, but there was no improvement; in fact, the pain worsened. Later, when I returned to my parents' home, my mother suggested boiling a small amount of vinegar (about seven or eight sips) and adding some brown sugar, which she claimed would cure it. She mentioned that when we were children, all four of us had stomach aches, and the local doctor (who had participated in the Korean War) advised against taking any medication. Instead, he recommended boiling a little vinegar in a spoon, adding brown sugar, and drinking it (in our hometown dialect). My mother recalled that back then, they didn’t even have a stove; they would just grab some grass, boil the vinegar in a rice spoon, add brown sugar, and it would work. So, I tried this method for my daughter. I boiled vinegar on the stove, added brown sugar, and had her drink six or seven sips before breakfast and again in the afternoon. That very night, she felt better, and by the next morning, her stomach pain had significantly reduced, only lasting for a short while. After repeating the remedy a few more times, the pain completely disappeared. She no longer complained of stomach pain during meals, and her appetite improved greatly. I am also a beneficiary of this folk remedy, having previously shared a remedy for laryngitis. I hope this can help others! Contributor: Teacher Li Yan.
