Hyperthyroidism Remedy from Hong Kong! Here's a remedy for hyperthyroidism: Ophiopogon japonicus (10g), Schisandra chinensis (10g), Rehmannia glutinosa (15g), Cornus officinalis (10g), Moutan cortex (15g), Dioscorea opposita (15g), Poria cocos (10g), Bupleurum chinense (10g), Alisma plantago-aquatica (10g), Curcuma aromatica (10g), Ligustrum lucidum (10g), Paeonia lactiflora (10g), Eupatorium fortunei (10g), Jianqu (10g), and Glycyrrhiza uralensis (10g). Make sure to use Jianqu and not Shenqu, as they look similar but have different effects. This is based on personal experience. Soak the herbs in cold water for 20 minutes, then simmer for 20 minutes. Add water and simmer twice, then mix the decoctions and take them in the morning and evening. I often visit your space and find it great, so I’m sharing this remedy. It worked for me—I was told by the hospital that medication wouldn’t help and that I needed surgery. Later, I showed my test results to an experienced TCM practitioner who prescribed this formula. After a month of taking it, the lumps on both sides of my throat disappeared, and my condition improved. After a month, you can take one dose every 2-3 days to consolidate the effects. I also shared this with a friend, and it worked well for them too. Contributor: Sister Mei.
