For treating constipation, which is more effective? Raw Atractylodes surpasses Rhubarb!

Which is better for treating constipation? Raw Atractylodes beats Rhubarb! Enthusiastic netizen (a/b Qiushi Xuan, QQ 531190464): Hello, Teacher Hu, I often read your posts. Today, I’d like to share a remedy: soak a coin-sized piece of raw Atractylodes (Bai Zhu) in water and drink it to treat constipation caused by spleen deficiency. If you haven’t had a bowel movement for more than two days, but the stool is not dry, and your tongue coating is thin, these are signs of spleen deficiency. Although rhubarb (Da Huang) can provide immediate relief for constipation by increasing intestinal motility, it doesn’t address the root cause. Unless you’re extremely uncomfortable, you can use rhubarb as a temporary solution. At least three people I know, including family and friends, have been cured using this remedy, and the results have been excellent! I enjoy reading medical literature and combining it with practice and reflection, hoping to help others. Contributor: Teacher Wang.
