For external burns, use a flour paste! A kind-hearted netizen (Jingling, QQ: 1103695569): Hello, Teacher Hu, I was deeply moved to see how hard you work to help everyone alleviate their pain and worries. I would also like to share a folk remedy that I personally experienced for treating burns. While cooking at home, I accidentally burned my hand with hot oil. It was very painful, so I immediately rinsed it under cold water from the tap. My aunt quickly mixed some cold water with flour to make a thick paste and applied it to the burn. After a while, the pain subsided, and no blisters formed. Later, there was no scarring, and the effect was excellent—it worked even faster than burn ointment. The flour and water helped reduce inflammation and cool the burn. Simply mixing flour with cold water into a thick paste easily treated the burn. My aunt said that whether it's an oil burn, a water burn, or even a burn from a very hot radiator, as long as you apply the paste promptly, the results are good. Reminder: If the burn is severe, apply a thicker layer of the paste and change it frequently. I’m sharing this remedy in the hope that it can help others without costing them unnecessary money!
