Celery is a treasure, it can cure pharyngitis! Enthusiastic netizen (Zhaohua Xishi, QQ931120629): Hello, Teacher Hu! I have been following your space for a long time and have shared many of the folk remedies you posted with my friends. I am deeply moved by your selfless dedication. I also have a folk remedy that I would like to contribute. I feel it is my responsibility to do something, and through your space, I hope those in need can find it and alleviate their suffering. Here is a folk remedy for treating pharyngitis: About five or six years ago, I suffered from pharyngitis. Not only did my throat hurt, but my ears also ached, and the pain kept me awake at night. I learned of a remedy from a retired local official. The method involves juicing fresh celery stalks (do not heat them) and collecting the juice in a small bowl. Drink 20 milliliters (a large mouthful) of the juice in the morning and evening, adding a small amount of white sugar and stirring well before slowly swallowing. After drinking, rinse your mouth with a 10:1 solution of hydrogen peroxide (10 spoons of hydrogen peroxide mixed with 1 spoon of cold water, using a child's eating spoon). At the time, I forgot the ratio and rinsed directly with hydrogen peroxide. I was completely cured after about 10 days of treatment and have not had a recurrence since. Recently, a colleague of mine had pharyngitis, and I shared this remedy with them, which also cured them. It is important not to eat immediately after drinking the juice, as it may wash away the anti-inflammatory effect. Celery is a great food, rich in nutrients and capable of lowering blood pressure. This remedy not only provides nutrition but also treats the illness. I hope that through your space, this remedy can help alleviate the suffering of those with pharyngitis.
